SPLIT
Old or young, whichever way you like it, Split's history dates back less than 1700 years. The city grew out of the Palace of Emperor Diocletian who ruled in the 4th century and who, having retired from Rome, decided to built himself a palace here.
Split is the largest town in Dalmatia and its cultural, economic and tourist centre, with 6 museums, 3 picture galleries and a theatre. It is also the venue of a number of cultural and sports events. For those who wish to combine business with pleasure, the ambiance of the city together with the comfort and requirements of the business community, the hotels and halls of Split are inarguably the correct choice.
