ŠIBENIK
The Croats, their oldest city, an urban centre with the largest monument in these parts built in a manner unique in the world. Šibenik does indeed have many faces and its visitors many reasons to retain it in their memories.
Sibenik is remembered first and foremost for its cathedral of St.Jacob, the most magnificent architectural monument of this part of the world, and which is under the protection of UNESCO.
The entire structure of the cathedral, from its foundations to its vaults, is comprised of stone, which makes it the only one of this kind in the world.
